An update on the 1st team's progress: we won every match except the big one against Beaconsfield II at Beaconsfield.

It means that at the half way point we lie only 8 points behind the team that came down from Div I last season. It could all have been so different. Andy had an off night at 1 and lost his first match this season. However, with the match poised at 2 - 2 and all to play for, I played the final rubber and lost 9 - 6 in the fifth; it was also my first loss of the campaign!!! Only Stewart remains undefeated. Both Andy and I thought we should have won our games so we feel we can make up the difference and then exact revenge when Beaconsfield II come to our courts in their final match of the season on March 25th. But is going to go down to the wire.
